Agreement to Legal Terms
Welcome to Uplift, operated by CtrlAltFix Tech (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), registered in Trinidad and Tobago.
By downloading, accessing, or using Uplift (the “App”) or any related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the App immediately.

The Services are for users 18 years or older. If you are under 18, do not use Uplift.
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make major changes, we’ll let you know by email or in-app notification. Continuing to use Uplift means you accept the new terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Uplift, you agree to follow these Terms. If you don’t agree, please delete your account and stop using the Services.
2. User Responsibilities
a. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Uplift.
b. Account Information
You are responsible for keeping your login information safe and for any activity under your account. Please use a valid email address and keep your details up to date.
c. Appropriate Use
Uplift is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
Break any laws while using the app
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Disrupt the experience for others (e.g., spamming, abuse, bypassing moderation)
3. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy matters. By using Uplift, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains in detail what we collect and how we use it. Key points:
We collect basic information like email, age confirmation, and account activity.
Room conversations are securely stored for safety and moderation purposes, but are deleted if you delete your account.
We do not sell your data.
4. Content & Intellectual Property
a. Our Rights
All Uplift trademarks, logos, and platform content belong to CtrlAltFix Tech. You may not copy or use them without permission.
b. Your Content
You own the content you post (messages, contributions, etc.), but by posting it, you give Uplift a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it for providing and improving the Services (for example, moderation or research into improving safety).
5. Disclaimer of Liability
Uplift is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not responsible for any damages that result from using the App.
Uplift is not a replacement for professional medical or mental health care. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a hotline in your country.
6. Community Guidelines
Uplift is built on respect and kindness. By using the App, you agree to follow our Community Guidelines.
This means:
Be kind and supportive.
Do not harass, abuse, or discriminate.
Respect the privacy of others.
Do not use Uplift as a dating app or for inappropriate behavior.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. Features & Limitations
Room Limits: To keep Uplift safe and fair, there’s a daily cap on how many rooms you can create.
Kudos: You can show appreciation to peers with Kudos, but misuse (e.g., fake accounts to self-reward) may result in restrictions.
Moderation: Hosts and moderators can remove peers from rooms for rule violations. Repeat or serious violations may result in permanent bans.
8. Modification & Termination
We may change or discontinue parts of the App at any time. If you break these Terms, we may suspend or delete your account.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
