Uplift is a peer-to-peer mental health platform where you can connect anonymously with others for real-time support. Create or join small group rooms to share what’s on your mind, listen to others, and remind yourself that it’s okay not to be okay.
Yes. You’ll use a peer username, not your real name. Conversations are only visible to people in your room.
Uplift is designed for adults 18 and older.
When you sign up, you’ll choose a username based on fruits, such as Plum, Zaboca, Orange, or Peewah.
You can then use Uplift in two ways:
Create a Support Room by selecting a category, adding a description, and hosting up to five peers for a 15–60 minute session.
Join a Support Room by browsing existing topics and offering support to your peers. By contributing meaningfully, you can earn Kudos from the host.
Most users start by joining rooms to gain experience before hosting their own.

Support rooms are small, time-limited group chats focused on a specific topic. They give you a safe space to share what’s on your mind or listen to others.
Yes. You can choose from a list of over 100 topics across stress, grief, relationships, personal growth, and more. Topics must follow our Community Guidelines.
Up to five peers, excluding the host.
Each room runs for a set time, usually 15 to 60 minutes.
You can participate in multiple rooms, but only one at a time.
From the home screen, tap the create button, choose a topic, add a description, and begin hosting.
Use the My Room screen or the banner at the top of the home screen to jump back in. hosting.
At the end of each session, the host rates peers for their support. These ratings award Kudos, experience points that recognize helpful contributions.
Earning Kudos unlocks milestones such as Supporter or Empathetic Ear.
Only the host rates peers. Peers receive Kudos based on how helpfully they contributed in that session.
Your Kudos total appears on your Profile and contributes to unlocking milestones that highlight your supportive participation.
Hosts receive a brief session summary after the room ends. Full chat transcripts are not displayed.
Some rooms may include a trigger notice. Please read it before joining and choose what feels right for you.

No. Uplift offers peer support, not professional care. If you need urgent or clinical help, please consult a qualified professional or use the hotline resources in the app.

Rooms are private to participants and designed for anonymity.
NOTE : Please avoid sharing personal details. Reports of harm or guideline violations may be acted on by our moderation team.

Use Report Incident from the chat or your Profile. Our moderation team reviews every report to keep the community safe.
Yes. You can block a peer from their profile or from a message, and manage blocked peers in your Profile.
Be respectful, be supportive, protect privacy, and avoid harmful content. Repeated violations may lead to removal.
Yes. Uplift is free to join and free to participate in. Our mission is to make peer support accessible to everyone, so the core features will always stay free.
Uplift no longer uses credits. Hosting and joining rooms are free, with limits in place to prevent spam and keep sessions meaningful.

To delete your account, go to My Profile and tap Delete Account. Your account will then be scheduled for deletion. After 14 days of inactivity, it will be permanently removed along with all of your data and contributions.
