We’re proud to share that Uplift was selected as a World Summit Awards (WSA) 2025 National Nominee, earning recognition in one of the world’s leading platforms for digital solutions with social impact.

The World Summit Awards highlight initiatives from around the world that use technology to address real-world challenges. Being named a National Nominee placed Uplift among a small group of locally selected digital solutions recognized for their relevance, purpose, and social contribution.

What This Recognition Represents

The WSA National Nominee distinction acknowledges Uplift’s work in building an accessible, community-driven mental health platform centered on peer support. While Uplift did not advance beyond the national nomination stage, the recognition itself represents meaningful validation of the platform’s mission, impact, and design.

This milestone is less about progression through an awards pipeline and more about visibility — affirming that Uplift is addressing an important need in a thoughtful, responsible way.

Representing Trinidad & Tobago

As a National Nominee, Uplift was proud to represent Trinidad & Tobago within the World Summit Awards program. Mental health is a global challenge, and this recognition highlights the importance of locally grounded, culturally aware solutions emerging from the Caribbean.

Uplift was created to make mental health support more approachable through safe, anonymous, peer-based spaces — particularly for individuals who may not engage with traditional support systems.
