It’s hard to believe, but it’s been a year since our last major update! Over the past year, we’ve been listening to your feedback, adjusting to the changing needs of life, and working hard to bring you the best possible experience. With that in mind, we’re excited to introduce Uplift V1.0.16, packed with a range of exciting features and UI improvements designed to enhance your experience.
This update brings a host of refinements, new tools, and greater flexibility to make your support journey smoother, faster, and more connected.
Let’s dive into what’s new!
✍🏼 UI Improvements for a Seamless Experience
We’ve made significant updates to several key screens in Uplift, designed to provide you with a more fluid and engaging experience. Here’s a closer look:
1. Onboarding & Login Redesigned for Clarity
We’ve revamped the Onboarding and Login screen to make the first experience with Uplift even more welcoming and easy to navigate. You’ll notice a cleaner, more intuitive layout, helping you get started with the app in no time.

2. Sleeker Community, Support Room, and Reporting Screens
We’ve also redesigned the Community, Create Support Room, and Reporting screens. These updates enhance usability, making it easier than ever to create rooms, report issues, and engage with others.

🆕 New Features to Supercharge Support
We’re rolling out features designed to help you manage your support rooms more effectively and stay connected with your peers.
3. Trigger Warning for Support Rooms
We understand the importance of preparing for sensitive topics. Trigger Warnings will now appear when entering support rooms, alerting users to potentially distressing content.
NOTE: This feature can be managed by moderators and admins, who can add or remove these warnings as needed. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities.

4. Emergency Hotline/Resource Reference Option
Need urgent support? Typing “/hotlines” in any support room will now open a country selection dropdown. Once you select your country, a message with relevant emergency hotline information will be displayed, ensuring that help is always just a message away.

5. User Tagging
Engagement is key in a support room, and now it’s easier than ever to engage with others. By typing “@” followed by a username, you can tag specific users in conversations, making it simple to direct messages and get responses faster.

To keep the conversation flowing, push notifications have been introduced for support room messages. This feature will help promote quicker responses and foster more timely interactions. Don’t want the notifications? No problem! You can turn them off anytime via Profile → Settings → Manage Notifications → Support Room Messages.

🛠 What’s Coming Next?
We’re continuously listening to feedback and making improvements. Stay tuned for future updates that will bring even more features and enhancements designed to support your mental health journey.
